Visit Us

All are welcome at WPC. If you are planning to join us for worship for the first time, there are a few things you may want to know before you arrive. For further information, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page and we will be happy to get in touch with you. Additionally, each Sunday you will find a greeter at each entryway of our worship space who would be happy to provide directions or answer any questions, as would any of our pastors, staff or members.

Worship Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

Where should I park?

If our main lots are full, you may park in the Green Parking Lot on W. Augusta Pl. You may also park at the Uniform Shop on Augusta, the Augusta Place mall, or in the bank parking lot across Augusta St. There will be a police officer to ensure safety when crossing the street.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code at Westminster. However, because our Worship services are traditional, worshippers often wear business attire.

What can I expect in worship?

Our services are traditional and follow a Reformed order of worship with the sermon at the center of the service surronded by hymnody, prayers, and readings from Scripture. Once a quarter we receive communion. We are led in worship by traditional and children's choirs with organ, piano, and the occasional brass or string arrangements.

When is the nursery available?

The nursery is available every Sunday morning from 15 minutes prior to the first event until 15 minutes after the last event concludes. Our nursery is staffed with trained adults for the care and safety of infants-K4. The nursery is also available during special events such as church dinners, special worship services, musical programs, etc.

Will my children be welcomed in worship?

Children are welcome in worship. We provide Bible Bags with activities for children. Prior to the sermon, children K5 thru 1st grade are invited to Children's Church, where a Pastor leads them in worship and activities for the duration of the service.

How are the nursery rooms staffed?

Nursery rooms are staffed with paid workers and parents of children in the program. All paid staff are qualified childcare professionals who are screened through SLED. There is one paid worker in each room. Other caregivers consist of parents with children in the program and other adult church members (see Sunday Sitters Volunteer Program). We ask that all parents with children in the nursery program serve five times a year (about every 10 weeks).
