On Sunday, May 23, we are beginning our summer worship schedule. We will meet for worship each Sunday morning for one service at 10:00 a.m. There will be no Sunday School over the summer. This is also the day all our children and youth, "jump ahead" a grade, so rising K-5 year olds will begin attending worship and Children's Church. Nurseries will be available for those K4 and younger.
Sunday School classes are offered for kindergarten through fourth grade at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings during the school year downstairs in the Elementary wing. We are using a Presbyterian workshop rotation curriculum called "We Believe." Children gather by grade at the colored poles in the main area with their class and an adult Shepherd. “Shepherds” move each week as the children rotate through one of the following classes: Drama/Storytelling, Music & Worship, Games & Puzzles, Computers, Art, Audiovisual, and more. Teachers teach the same lesson/activity each week for six – eight weeks to a different grade.
This year we are trying something new with our fifth and sixth graders. They will join together in a class at 10:00 up on the 300 youth floor of the church.
