Associate Pastor for Youth, College Students and Young Families

Steve was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but moved to San Diego, California, with his family as a baby. He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene College with a degree in speech communications. He graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Austin, Texas, with a Master of Divinity degree in 1998 and accepted a call to Westminster that summer. While in seminary he served a one-year internship as solo pastor in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Steve and his wife Amy have two children, Kallie and Wiley, and are anticipating the birth of a baby in 2011. Steve enjoys playing and watching most sports but is an avid baseball and football fan - particularly rooting for Oakland Raiders and San Diego Padres!
