Senior High

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

Colossians 2:6-7

Sunday School

Our youth Sunday School program consists of three classes, grades 5 - 12, which all meet on our 300-level youth floor from September - May.  (Enter the church building from the Augusta Road parking lot in the double glass doors.  Take the stairs to the left to the top floor, which is our Youth Floor.)

Youth in Grades 9 - 12 meet together as a group for Sunday School.  Many of Westminster's youth at this age are familiar with basic Bible stories, so their class focuses on the application of these Bible teachings.  Through class discussion, they look at decision making and how their biblical faith influences how they act in their daily lives.  Led by their adult teachers, they explore such issues as missions, social action, service to others, relationships, career choice, peer pressure, and various contemporary issues, all in an effort to apply the Bible to the way they act and live.

Youth Group

Our youth group follows the Presbyterian team approach, which focuses on mission, study, fellowship, and fun!  We believe all four areas are important to our youth and their faith growth, and we strive to focus on one or more of these issues at each weekly meeting.

Our Senior Highs meet on Sundays from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the Senior High Room from August - May.

We always say that the three most important elements in youth ministry are relationships, relationships, and relationships.  In Senior Highs, we watch relationships grow with each other and with God as we play games, share our joys and struggles, and wrestle with our faith together in various ways.
