Education

Christian Education seeks a lifelong encounter with Jesus Christ while sharing that encounter with others.

At Westminster Presbyterian Church, our educational ministries seek to encourage your Christian life and to build a strong community. This includes educational programs for all people, from our youngest children to our most senior adults.

The children of the church (birth through 5th grade) enjoy a wide variety of age-appropriate programs, including church school, Vacation Bible School, “It’s Elementary,” Westminster Tweens, children’s church, preschool fun days, service projects, and other special events.

The youth of Westminster make up two groups: the Middle School Group (grades 6-8) and the Senior High Group (grades 9-12). The youth programs provide support to our youth as they strive to live a Christian life in a secular world and to prepare them for the responsibilities of church membership. This allows for a range of events and opportunities including mission trips, retreats, and family programs.

Church school is offered each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for children and adults beginning with K2 from September - May. Other events include November nights (first three Sundays in November) and a variety of small group Bible studies.

Childcare is available for church-related programs.
