We encourage you to consider making Westminster your church home, where you and your family will find a warm, friendly congregation that offers a range of programs, activities, and service opportunities for virtually every age group.

Becoming a Member

Our New Member Class, led by Associate Pastor Jean Weaver and Mission Outreach Coordinator Susan McLarty, is offered regularly throughout the year. The class begins at 8:45 on designated Sunday mornings with light refreshments and runs until 10:30.  (In April, June and August, we offer a Wednesday evening class from 6:00-8:30).  This class is for anyone interested in learning more about Westminster Presbyterian Church, membership here, or what it means to be Presbyterian.  After attending the class, those who wish to may join Westminster at the 11:15 a.m. worship service on that same day or on a future New Member Sunday.

The only requirement for membership is baptism. Those who have never been baptized may contact the church office at 232-2424 for information on receiving this sacrament.
